MTK6592T vs MSM8974AC vs Exynos 5422 Details
As the grow of technology of mobile phones, more and more featured and functional devices come to us. Good news is that, Samsung company has official released a real octa core at a shout time before- Exynos 5422 Octa core instead of “fake” or “Dual Quad Core”; A young and dynamic company- Xiaomi- finally released the Xiaomi Mi4, and there’s a new born company called “OnePlus” also shocked the world with the newest SnapDragon QualComm MSM8974AC Processor; And not so long ago, MediaTek released the MTK6592T as well and brought it to THL 5000 as an experiment.
Today, we will test all these 3 cpu chips to check which one will be better. And the experimenters are Samsung Galaxy S5 G900H/ THL 5000(MT6592T)/ OnePlus One. At the beginning, we will check the tech info about all phones.

As you can see, all these 3 phones have almost the same tech info, OnePlus One won the first place by the Ram if we forget testing the performance. How are the performance about all these hottest device? Let’s go in details.
All 3 phones are using swipe to unlocked, S5 has the special effect of “Ripple”, THL 5000 is using the traditional android unlock 4 keys, and OnePlus is using Color OS Unlock.
Samsung S5 is using the Touch Wizard and the page on the first screen can be reduced or increased, OnePlus One which is running Color OS as well. However THL 5000 is running original Android 4.4 os, so the first screen can’t be edited.
Here you can see, all these 3 devices have the Secondary Menu, and S5 wins because it has a “Hide APP” Function.
S5 has a new design of setting view but it is more tedious; Color OS classificate its setting on 3 option and it looks fine. THL 5000(MTK6592T) is still using traditional setting view.
S5 and THL 5000 are using the newest Android 4.4 Kitkat, and rumors said that, OnePlus One has already released the Android 4.4 os, but what we have gotten is still Android 4.3 JeallyBean.
S5 supports about 26 languages, and THL 5000 supports 54 language, and OnePlus One here is only Simplified/ Traditional Chinese and English.
When testing the display, you will see the color on Samsung S5 and OnePlus are closer to nature, however, the color on THL 5000(MTK6592T) is a little cold.
Samsung Galaxy S5 carries with a 16MP Camera, and quick digital zoom. The photo quality is pretty nice, meanwhile, it supports 4K video record.
THL 5000 has an announced 18MP camera, but it just supports 1080p video record, and the quality is not so good.
OnePlus One has a 13MP rear camera which support 4K video record as well, the quality is better than THL 5000, but worse than S5.

Click “Start Test” at the same time, but the test speed of all these phones generally become different. OnePlus One is faster, and THL 5000 comes after it. Samsung Galaxy S5 G900H is the slowest one.
Finally the score came up, the first one to end this test is OnePlus One which has a score of 42500. And the second one is THL 5000 with MTK6592T- 30000. And the slowest one- Samsung Galaxy S5 G900H has the highest score of 43500.
