Xiaomi Smartphone Released with 1.5GHz Dual-core

Xiaomi, in Chinese it literally means grain or cereal, but Xiaomi Corp has nothing to do with Chinese food. In fact, it is a recently formed start-up business specializing in mobile apps founded in April 2010. After more than one year of fast development and expansion, its founder and CEO Leijun, officially released the Android powered Xiaomi phone in August 2011.

Although the phone has yet to be launched on the local market, many Chinese people are now rushing to preorder it on the official website, then expecting delivery in October.

Not surprisingly, it also possesses a 4-inch 854×480 resolution capacitive touch screen, 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM, a spacious 1930mAh battery, and an 8-megapixel camera with support for GSM and a WCDMA radio.
